1. In a first read-aloud of the story, keep asking, “What do you think will be the next thing a friend will want to add to Todd’s snuggly?”

2. What are some other disasters that might happen with items brought for show and tell?

Activities

1. Make a snuggly shape out of paper attaching it loosely to a cardboard backing. Draw items to add to the snuggly. Cut these out and have them peeking out the top and sides until it looks like it is about to burst. Post all the snugglies on a bulletin board.
